This vid owes a lot of inspiration to heresluck 's Heroes vid, People Get Ready, which I love so much and where I found the song I used here.

I wanted to do an ensemble vid, and I tried my best to include as many characters and relationships as possible without losing all coherency (I noticed right at the end that I hadn't included any clips of Maria Hill, for example, and by then I was too tired to figure out where I could add her).
At the very least I did use clips from all movies (yes, even the Hulk, and more importantly, there are Infinity War spoilers)!

ETA 06.08.18: Now remastered with shiny HD Infinity War footage. I also changed a couple of clips and redid the coloring while I was at it. For future reference, the old version is on Youtube here.

Oh, this is completely beautiful. I *love* all the parallels you've pulled out - all the sibling relationships, the loves lost and found, the complex father issues (oh god so many, why, Marvel, why), the friendships and handshakes and the moments of despair and the moments of wonder. I love how you've used so many shots that don't get used often, or ever! It felt really new and fresh which is particularly impressive given that this is a 5 and a half minute song to a REALLY extensively vidded fandom. Thank you for making this!

It's so good to hear that it felt fresh to you - sometimes it feels like everything's been done before in this fandom, so I tried my best to use not-boring-but-not-too-overused clips. I deliberately choose to not use the main group shots from Avengers and AOU, for example, because as cool as they are, well...

I loved this! SO many smart parallels between different characters/franchises . . . I especially loved Thor/Loki and Gamora/Nebula, and then Thor and T'Challa both dealing with the betrayals of their King-fathers. Absolutely stunning work . . . gave me a lot of feelings, and almost made it seem like all the movies made sense and tied together!

Hey :D I know I've seen those parallels explored else where before, but I can't remember now if it was a gifset I saw or maybe a meta post? In any case I really liked how these sections turned out so that's so nice to hear it worked for you. I tried real hard to wrangle all these movies into a sort of coherent whole (and not just have fun visual stuff back to back), so I'm glad those efforts were not in vain ;)
