ok so about, oh two years ago (wow time flies), i made a belated dip in stargate fandom for the first time, and i ended up making two rec lists : one gen, one for non-mcshep shippy stuff (not that i don’t like it, but the internet still has plenty of rec lists for that). and this stayed in my drafts for ages and i figured i should post it at last

so here are some of my favorite fics with (almost) no McShep (some slipped in the poly / multi category) for your enjoyment, and as a reference for myself. The fics are ordered by pairing and word count.

While Kate, John, and Teyla search for Elizabeth, she escapes from Oberoth and the other Replicators.

I really like the plot and the timey-wimeyness of this.

This is probably my favorite post-Trinity fic ever.

At first, she does not even know what to call them, or how to think of them.

This fic is a delight ! I love fics that deal with the fact that Teyla is from a different culture.
